Final Roundup

North Caulfield beat Ashburton 3-2 at home to record their 17th win in 18 matches - their only blemish, the 4-3 defeat at Anderson Park to Doncaster Rovers. Ashburton, after looking a good bet for 2nd place slipped away in the second half of the season to finish 4th.

Knox City beat Mooroolbark 2-0 to clinch 2nd place. Mooroolbark finished on 9 points, not a bad effort after one gaining 1 point in the first half of the season.

Doncaster Rovers finished the season on a high with an impressive 6-3 win at Ringwood City to secure 3rd place, 3 points clear of 4th. Ringwood improved over the second half of the season with a 3-game winning run before this last match.

Richmond beat Boroondara Lions 2-0 away to finish the season on a high note to finish in 6th place. Boroondara has a disappointing second half of the season picking up 20 points for the first 9 games but only 10 points for the second 9.

Boronia beat Sherbrooke Rangers 3-1 to finish 8th on 13 points. Sherbrooke only gained 1 point in the last 9 games to linish in 10th place.
