Week 10 Roundup

After commencing a season that was in doubt due to the drought, Rovers game was called off on Sunday because of ..... a waterlogged pitch. After three days of heavy rain, the local council, Manningham, decided that the pitches at Anderson Park were not fit for use so all of the scheduled Doncaster Rovers home games for that weekend, for all age groups, were postponed.

This meant that the Boroondara game would be rescheduled for the catch-up week of 19th August.

However, the other four matches took place as scheduled. North Caulfield had an excellent 3-2 win away at Knox City to retain top spot while Ashburton laboured to overcome Boronia 2-1 at home. There were big wins for Ringwood, 6-0 at Sherbrooke, and Richmond who beat Mooroolbark 4-0 at home.
